@amur leopard Thank you so much! I used a 600mm telephoto lens at low aperture for this encounter and stood on the bottom deck of the boat (around 1 1/2m above sea level) which created the illusion of being almost at eye level to the whales (who, in reality, were probably around 10-25 meters away!)
