Getting a little friendly - at this point the keeper appeared to scare the bird off. The aviary is only open for part of the day as the condors and King Vultures need to be watched over.

They keep parrot species with the condors and vultures which is a bit unusual . And not reali advisible from what i hear!

Many of the species mixes at this zoo aren't, e.g- Tapir and speccy bear?
You wouldn't mix polar bears with seals...:rolleyes:
 
European Fauna
A fine-looking structure.Could do with some lateral planting , but I presume they are reluctant to diminish the visual depth-of-field and possibly take away from the impresion of space.
