Volunteers looking after this conservation area, downstream of Paignton Zoo, built this artificial kingfisher nesting bank last year. They are hoping it will be used this year. I have yet to see any kingfishers around it on my permitted coronavirus exercise outings, but then I have only ever seen one once in my lifetime, and that was at the zoo.
