I'm enjoying the Aussie wildlife photos that you have been posting, and I have fond memories of hiking through Kings Canyon on my honeymoon back in 2007. Of the 6 weeks we spent travelling around Australia there was a week in the "dead heart" and I can vividly recall hordes of flies buzzing in all directions during May-June and wondering how on earth the locals put up with such annoyances.
