What do baby kiwis eat? It looks like this one is being fed cat food or something like it...

in the wild kiwi feed mainly on invertebrates, especially worms. In captivity they are fed a mixture of minced meat, rolled oats and vegetables/fruit with added vitamin supplements for calcium etc. Worms and other live food are supplementary.

This one was getting oxtail mince with some added vitamins and a small amount of veges (I think they were frozen vegs). Although three weeks old, it still refused to peck at the bits of meat and would wait for it's beak to be held open and the meat shoved in the back of it's mouth. It took 19gms of food at this feeding.
