Knie Kinderzoo is the winter base of the Swiss national circus.
I assume this White Rhinoceros was retired from travelling as it was not a part of the show when the circus came to Neuchatel. Later that day I saw it lean against the fence for a scratch from visitors, it was calm and undoubtedly used to people and human contact.
