It looks spectacular, but I suspect that the gorillas shy away from the wide-open, one-acre meadow. Both the chimps and gorillas at the Knoxville Zoo have large exhibits, but most of the apes were found indoors on a relatively hot day.

Ugh -- no climbing structures either.
I'm glad they have this outdoor area -- I could find no mention of it on Knoxville's site -- but hotwiring all the trees and large shrubs defeats the purpose.
