I wouldn't like to say really. I saw no problems on my visit, but we'd have hear from someone who saw this setup at a different time to hear if it is a long-term thing.
@gentle lemur interesting indeed! These two species seem inoffensive enough so perhaps long-term cohabitation could work. Curiously Osaka Aquarium cohabitates three Giant Pacific Octopuses and several Bigfin Reef Squid together in a single (extremely large) tank - I'm not sure how that would work long term! I suspect it may end up as a single, well-fed octopus!
