A few scans from my one and only visit to Kolmården Zoo. I am guessing that the year was 1969. Not very impressing photo quality but perhaps the pictures can be of interest anyway...
OK... elephant(s) behind wooden fence?! No sign of hotwire. Hmmmm....
I don´t remember if this is a case of two pictures of the same elephant or if there perhaps were two young elephants in the enclosure.
Obviously this must have been some kind of temporary arrangement and certainly this was not the main elephant enclosure. But the pictures are 40 years old so I do not remember that much...
