I this a natural position for elephants ? I'm sure, they are doing this also in nature, mostly at nights, so noone has seen it before. Pretty good for their legs and whip....
Its a shame, that in some european zoos circus like perfomances with elphants are still existing, and this in 2011..... I think, Krefeld is one of them.
