It's looking very good indeed. I do like how they landscape the exhibits rather than just fence them off - even the even-less-finished South American walkthrough has a pool and a very solid-looking bridge. It's that sort of thing that sets YWP apart from a lot of smaller zoos - they have a good eye for the finish on their exhibits.
Coming along very nicely-looks like quite a good sized area with some nice features withing the enclosure. I haven't visited since it was still being built but need to go now.
How would you rate it against Lion Country (which I think is fantastic)?
Hard to say with the tiger exhibit not being finished; it's certainly of a very similar quality. I think with both finished the viewing will be better at Lion Country, so I'd give that the edge, but that's partly because the forest cats have of course been given more foliage than the savannah cats!
