The largest hall in the museum and together with the Crocodile Hall also the most interesting for people whose main interests are fauna and flora. A decent amount of animal specimens and some plant specimens are displayed in this hall, along with information on different habitats and ecoregions.
Ngl, While this museum does give the sense that I was built with bloody hands, I do have the urge to visit it.

@PossumRoach It is true that the museum was originally built with the explicit intent of glorifying the Belgian colonization of the Congo, which especially in the first decades (the so-called Congo Free State, personal property of King Leopold II, not the Belgian state) was incredibly brutal.

However after a lengthy renovation the museum now tries to deal with this heritage as well as possible, and also tells tries to tell the stories of the atrocities and injustices that happened during the colonial era.

I would say the fauna and flora displays are certainly interesting and worthy of a visit. Also in that respect: the museum does sometimes also display materials showing the disturbing ways animals were hunted in the past.
