One of my pet peeves is the removal of ragwort in in paddocks. Yes, this plant is poisonous to horses and cattle but as evidence of this photo the horses know that it's poisonous and therefore avoid it. However, in the context of a hay meadow removal is necessary as it cannot be detected when dry and in hay bales and therefore becomes deadly.
