Not a bad roommate, they don't snore or turn the lights on when you're sleeping. Although my other (human) roommate at Sepilok was less enamoured by the mouse which seemed to like running across his face at night.
That's just three things plugged into one socket. I've done far, far more with aquariums before!
You should theoretically be able to get up to 2400 watts out of a single socket.
I found that three-way plug really useful on this trip. It's much less to carry than a whole extension cord and I often only had one socket to charge all four of my devices: my phone, camera, torch, and computer.
