Larger Haired Armadillo baby

Wow! Did this survive? Was it hand reared? I have recently bred 3 banded armadillo and its amazing how quickly their shell hardens up.

This species is one that is better suited to captivity. We raised several times.

Was this one hand reared? I understand that parent armadillos do not like being disturbed when rearing young?
