Maybe it slowed to a complete stop (i.e., expired)?

I had seen the chevrotain for years without appreciating what cool animals chevrotains are. It took seeing pictures of stuffed African chevrotains here on ZooChat to realize that we have a live chevrotain in LA.

I think the zoo will be getting another chevrotain in hopes of breeding them.
