Last Year for the old Reptile/Amphibian Building

Not much of a looker, but nevertheless I rather liked this house. A nice traditional Reptile House with some fantastic species.

Not to say the new one won't be better, of course, but I'm glad I saw the old one first.

That is a nice summary of what is a decent Reptile House but one that was looking a bit threadbare in places. The new $25 million complex will surely be terrific and Zoo Atlanta has not had an ultra-expensive, fancy new area to promote for many years. Trader's Alley opened in 2010 but it was done on the cheap and so there is the weight of expectations surrounding the upcoming Reptile House.
