Absolutely. In 1973 I think that London Zoo held at least 15 species of birds of prey in this old range of aviaries. But the aviaries were very small and bare, and most held single birds, like this falcon.
I wouldn't want to turn the clock back to those days. The site of these aviaries now has a small wildlife garden and a large aviary for macaws and cockatoos, with several smaller aviaries for separate pairs of these birds.
