I am pleasantly surprised by the size of this ocelot enclosure. You would´t happen to have any pictures of the inside? If not, could you perhaps describe it from memory? It appears to be well furnished from what I can see, with climbing strucures stretching up to the ceiling.
Sorry, no photos of the inside. I do have lots of cat closeups from the park on slide film that I will scan and post in a week or so, but nothing from this enclosure. You can get a sense of the scale if you look at the two children in the window on the far right. The inside of this enclosure, like ALL of the enclosures here, is completely natural. I will likely post a full review in a day or two.
I actually got the scale by looking at the two people - only I did not realise they were children!
Still, definitely an unusually big ocelot enclosure, I am sure! I like this so much better than seeing this cat being kept indoors in a 50 sq. meter enclosure inside a "tropical hall"...
The enclosure in the photo is for ocelots? Holy smokes, it is huge for such a tiny jungle cat! It must be the largest ocelot exhibit on the planet, and I like the look of this park already.
