Cobá, 26-07-2019. Before leaving Cobá to go to our next destination, I did a quick walk around the lake. After the crakes, I also spotted a very unexpected species; the least bittern.It sat out in the open for about half a minute, which was surprising to see considering its shy and seclusive nature.
