Maguari 10 Jan 2012 Yes, no subspecies here because they aren't pure (as far as I can work out!). The zoo didn't even try to claim they were African, as sometimes happens with 'zoo' leopards.

Brum 10 Jan 2012 I've seen a few "Africans" over the years, particularly melanistic leopards and I'm fairly certain they're a bit of a rarity in that subspecies.
