Such splendid animals! Their present animals are two injured strays found in 2007 on a NSW coast, if I'm not mistaken, and they cannot be returned to the wild so they will live our their lives at Taronga, which should not be bad after the Great Southern Oceans opened. At the time of my visit in September 2007 they were being cared for in the zoo hospital and I didn't get to see them as they were in quarantine, but I got to see the late Brookie, for which I'm very grateful as she passed away the following year. She was big and also so beutiful!
