Zoofan15 17 Jul 2020 The founders of Auckland Zoo’s Leopard tortoise colony were: 1.0 Oupa (1958 approx) 0.1 Kopje (1995) 0.1 Ufutu (1995) Oupa has since died, but produced many hatchlings over the years with the two females - the first hatched in January 2005 and was named Opunye. In addition to Kopje and Ufutu, Auckland Zoo has four male Leopard tortoise and 14 juveniles under the age of two.
