All of these shots at the African section of the Caldwell Zoo show a beautiful series of habitats around the African Savanna. There are no bars, metal poles, fences, cages, wire, etc. Nothing but well-hidden moats. Too many zoos simply have basic wire fences around a grassy field and call it a savanna. Anyone can do that.
This really is a spectacular view from here. The only barrier you will ever see here is a glass window separating you from the exhibit. A lot of the Savanna though is veiled through lots of trees and bamboo, so there are some blind spots in the exhibit, but that is probably best for the animals as it give them a chance to get out of view from the public.
