lion exhibit and event pavillion

The sight lines of the lion exhibit have been "compromised" (to put it mildly) by the new event pavillion.

Holy smokes...that is awful. I enjoyed my visit to El Paso Zoo back in 2010, but this is troubling. I see that the zoo has planted tiny trees that might eventually obscure the view of the event pavilion...but it will take many years for them to grow to a great height.

Yes and it is even worse when you see how much of the savanna was removed for this pavillion (photo in gallery).
