when i was there in march a docent at the zoo told me that this will become a snow leopard exhibit in the next 2 years. And the lions will move over somewhere near the giraffes. the docent said the president & CEO of Detroit zoo is a big cat fan and they also plan on getting African Leopards,Amur Leopards & another species of Big cat. He said plans are still in the works.
