Now that the moat has been filled in on this Hagenbeck-inspired grotto (over 80 years-old), do the lions have substantially more space? Has the exhibit been elevated from subpar to excellent?
This is exactly what the LA zoo should do to their exhibit if they don't plan to build a new one. It would easily double the space for the lions that the zoo plans to obtain.
