You can see holes in the cement where at one time there must have been some kind of stand-off fenced barrier, but I literally walked up and for a second put my fingers directly inside the indoor lion exhibit. It's the same situation with the tigers and in visits to 546 different zoos I'm fairly certain I've never seen anything like this before. Perhaps the big cats are kept permanently outside during opening hours? Whatever the case, it seems very risky!
