I'm almost certain this is a Lion-tailed Macaque. Not sure why, I personally think the lion has not that much of a unique tail.
"Lion Monkey" sounds much better. Being that the face has somewhat of a mane appearance.
It is a Lion-tailed Macaque (Macaca silenus) - and I've often wondered who exactly looked at an animal with a mane and thought, 'you know, it reminds me of a lion - just look at it's tail'!
(In fairness, macaques don't generally have tufted tails, so it is 'lion-tailed', but come on, it's got a mane!)

It's always Lion-tailed (rather than Lion Tailed*) Macaque, which definitely suggests the tail is meant to be like a lion. Which it is. But not as much like a lion as the mane!
*compare, for example, the Brown Eared Pheasant - no hyphen - the 'ears' are white - this is an Eared Pheasant that is brown rather than a pheasant with brown ears. Punctuation has it's uses!
