The couple times I have seen this area, I have been amazed at how many visitors walk along the bus route in the back - even though signs clearly say WRONG WAY or NO PEDESTRIANS or something to that effect.
Separating the bus route from the walking route is about the only thing they did right at Elephant Odyssey. I imagine any future developments at the zoo will take this into account (as the new front entrance construction seems to indicate).
