llama exhibit

Back in 2024 this was meant to be a Malayan Tapir exhibit, but they couldn't acquire the animal

@Fargusno WHAT?! I can't believe they actually had malayan tapirs. IMO, zoos that focused on entertainment instead of conservation like LPZ shouldn't acquired endangered animals like the malayan tapir. They should've let other zoos that focused on conservation instead of entertainment or really wanna breed them to acquired them. Where did you got the information that LPZ acquired the malayan tapirs?

@Rizz Carlton yeah, I remembered they had asian golden cats during my visit back in 2022. Their exhibit was now occupied by chinese pheaseants and hell, LPZ recently acquired more komodo dragons. They should've phased-out their single komodo dragon and replaced it with savannah monitors. IMO, it would be better if their single komodo dragon was sent to another facility that really wants to breed the komodo dragons. Not only komodo dragons, LPZ should phased-out all their single threatened species such as their orang utan and sun bear to another facility that really wants to breed them.

@Rizz Carlton Saw it back in 2022. IDK why they put them off display and converted the small carnivore/felidae complex into a phasianid complex.
