Jorge is a huge loggerhead sea turtle that is the star here. He was found on the beach near Buenos Aires, cold and sick, in 1984. He was sent to Acuario Mendoza which gave him a special tank, where he still lives today. He lives alone now, since Jorge killed and ate all the fish that have been placed with him, including a juvenile nurse shark. Acuario mendoza does not have the resources to find him a female mate.
