Loring's rat (Thallomys loringi)

I believe this is a
Acacia rat, Thallomys paedulcus

Tomas Pes of Plzen Zoo told me he believed them to be Loring's rat, although they had originally been labeled as Acacia rats in the past. Currently they were labeled as Loring's.

Joel Sartore also has this species at Plzen labeled as Loring's rat in his photos.
