November 2013. Exhibit on the left contains purple roller, white-bellied go-away-bird, emerald starling, Madagascar crested ibis, and Western capuchin babbler. Exhibit on the right is empty. This African-themed exhibit complex was opened in two phases in the early 1990?s (including the renovated Scripps Aviary) along with the Treetops complex of two restaurants and a shop (now an education room) and has 9 exhibits.

That's correct! I decided to label these pictures according to what they held when they were taken, which in this case was nothing. The hornbills in there now are magnificent!
 
They replace the great-blue turacos, which I guess are exhibited in a few places around the zoo, none more spectacular than Scripps.
