Lowland Anoa Enclosure

Until very recently, former second yard for Giant Elands, that has sat vacant for well over a year.
Here lives a young Lowland Anoa that lived for years behind the scenes. She is very friendly, playful, and loves attention. The other volunteers and I call her Cowduck because of the "quack" like sound she makes.

You could hear the quack at around 2:11 in the video.
 
Thanks for sharing that Mario, I really enjoyed it! I'm so glad they finally put that space to use once more. Many years ago, the zoo very successfully bred Sable Antelope there, but probably much better suited for Anoa. I'm happy little "Cowduck" has been given new life.
