That’s got to have been there now for at least 25 years. I imagine it’s now moulded itself onto the window! The final sentence always makes me chuckle…still waiting guys!
@Panthera1981 True, there were also a few other scraps before and now this promising statement that never was is the only one left It shows the power of sellotape that's for sure.
I’ve never noticed this before, but will have to look out for it when I next visit Whipsnade. It’s nice to see a zoo acknowledging its history not by writing about it in commemorative signage, but leaving it untouched barring subtle, but useful, restorations, such as the new paint job.
