I bet it was fun to watch. The zoo hasnt had two foals at the same time for quiet awhile so this time we are getting to see more normal play among young zebras.

It was sure indeed a fun experience )

In Grevy zebra family life the fighting between stallion and mare is never play time …, it is damn right serious. Their stallions are territorial and maintain individual territories which the matrilineal herds with foals cross over / into and beyond …

I am not denying it is no fun to watch …., just that biologically it is essential to their social structure and group dynamics …

Kifaru Bwana, these are young Zebra, being under a year old. I doubt this is a territorial fun. Just harmless playing between siblings.
