It is a pity that urban zoos struggle to replicate natural environments, as at Northwest Trek all that has to be done is hammer up some fence around a piece of woodland. I'm overally simplifying the concept of enclosure design, but if only urban zoos spent money on planting a few tall trees and thick bushes in animal exhibits then perhaps the average individual would have more respect for conservation issues.
