I think we got lucky as we went just before the summer holidays started, and although there were lots of school children there we managed to time it just before they all swarmed upon the enclosure! I bet all the shouting must have been incredibly frustrating for you!
Definitely the highlight of the day for me as they were one species I have never seen before, my OH informs me I had a massive smile on my face for about an hour afterwards! I hope for your sake that you'll have another opportunity to see them soon.
We are members and never usually go at weekends or school holidays so we kind of expected it to not be like our usual visits.
We couldn't even see a volunteer to ask where they usually hide in the enclosure, they were probably busy elsewhere, as it was very busy.
Just glad they both made it, we went a couple of days after they were born and was told of their birth and have not seen an official email or press release from whipsnade as yet.
Glad I am not the only one that gets all cheesey over the animals Great photos by the way hope we get to see some more
