I remember this exhibit from previous visits but it was all shut off - does anyone know what's happening here?

As far as I've read form zoosdelmundo this exibit was closed some months ago,but I don't know what happened to the animals. Does someone know what happened to them?

The black lemurs and black and white ruffer lemurs are no longer at the zoo, and the reptiles are at the Terrarium (some of them are not on display). The Zoo is planning what to do there.... I think that somebody askedt it at the Facebook page of the zoo and this was the answer.

Thanks for that. Do you know why they closed the exhibit down? It was relatively new as I recall.

I don't know the reason. It's closed since August (aprox.) of the last year.
Maybe they had a plan but due the financial problems they cancelled it for the moment (as I said in other comment, the government thinks that the zoo is not a priority for the city, even being one of the most visited places of Barcelona... I think that's the second one).

What a pity, when i visited in 2008 it had black and white ruffed lemur, black lemur, madagascar hognose snake, madagascar day gecko, panther chamaleon, and madagascar red frog.
It was a very nice house. Barcelona zoo fans will miss it.
