Part indoor exhibit for eastern black rhinos (Diceros bicornis michaeli) inside the Rhino House in the Africambo section of Magdeburg Zoo. This exhibit is the public viewing exhibit. There are more stalls behind the scenes from where this picture is taken (which explains the sketchy viewing from the keeper?s window).

During the summer Magdeburg Zoo has ?open houses? during the daytime where visitors can enter the backstage animal houses and even walk around inside the exhibits while guides give presentations on the aA pair of eastern black rhinos (Diceros bicornis michaeli) inside the Rhino House in the Africambo section of Magdeburg Zoo. Magdeburg Zoo has had great breeding success with this species.

Inside the Rhino House are also indoor viewings for Tanzanian black-and-white colobus (Colobus angolensis palliates), dwarf mongoose (Helogale parvula) and cape ground squirrel (Xerus inauris) as well as a couple of reptiles.

The Africambo I area is the first phase of the new African savannah area opened in 2010. The whole area is 20.000 m2 and features many African savannah animals. The second part, Africambo II, will feature a new elephant exhibit.
