I believe giraffe have been housed there in the past (Hopefully someone could confirm this). It is currently used to house the Eland and Chapmanns Zebra.
Yes, giraffe were maintained here in the distant past, long before the zoo was ope to the public. The house would no longer satisfy the requirements for maintaining giraffes, though - hence the eland and zebra.
