In the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella.

Barcelona is one of my most-visited non-UK zoos - this was my fourth visit over the last 15 years or so. In honesty this is more do do with the city than the zoo - the zoo is good and always enjoyable but it's the city that usually lures me back!

No, it's the new entrance from the park, which has been relocated to between the bird house and the zebra/wildebeest paddock since my last visit in 2005. I actually don't think I've ever used the Wellington entrance either in or out.

The Wellington entrance is in front of the tramway. The old entrance located at the Parc de la Ciutadella was close to the Parliment, just between the lesser grey shrike avieries and the black vultures.
