It is worth noting that all the corals in this tank are real, not artificial. In fact, I don't think any artificial coral/plants are used in the whole aquarium.
@DaLilFishie That's impressive, I would have never had suspected that. Truly magnificent, this aquarium looks like a real gem to me, plus, It has slipper lobsters. Who doesn't love slipper lobsters? (Well okay maybe a lot of people but at least I do. )
@CheeseChameleon2007 it is an excellent aquarium with a solid collection, especially with all the animals being found on the Great Barrier Reef (with the exception of the freshwater fish and herptiles of course, all of which are still found in Australia), but I can't help but feel that it's a bit outdated (the place is 33 years old!), signage is a bit faded, paint needs a touch up, and stuff like that. I do hear that they're going to be doing renovations of the place, which start February next year, so hopefully those issues can be fixed. It's also worth mentioning that the place is a bit on the small side, but the predator exhibit and of course their central reef tank more than make up for it in my opinion.
