M M Michal Sloviak 5 Apr 2011 At present Prague Zoo has two species of tapirs (Malayan also Brazilian). A pair of Malayan tapir arrived in August 2010 from Sandwich Zoo (Rare Species Conservation Centre), both were born at Edinburgh Zoo.
