Maleo

Up and early to see the morning sun in Wings of Australasia aviary
So they're still on exhibit then, just moved exhibits?

How about the other species that were living back there, Tongan Scrubfowl, Blue Coua, etc?

@Great Argus they were on exhibit in one of the small aviaries that make up Wings of Australasia, I don’t know about the scrubfowl but I did see blue coua close to where Tiger Trail area starts, more uphill I believe.

So, both San Diego and the Bronx Zoo currently have the only maleos in the U.S, right?

I don’t know if they are the only ones to have maleos but these guys are pretty up close early morning when the zoo opens, often overlooked unfortunately :(
