So for Melbourne Zoo's 150th birthday they had a display of 50 elephant statues around the city that were painted by artists (and in this case an elephant). They've recently been brought back into the zoo to be auctioned off in the near future.

Rather than adding more photos to the gallery I thought I'd just add them here. The first was covered in Asian animals, the second was covered in crocheted wool, and the third is dolled up like Dame Edna (Dame Ednaphant perhaps?).
