Mallorcan midwife toadlet

At the edge of the pool, old tuatara house. 1st April 2008.
It doesn't look to well, very slim waist and that funny bump on the elbow, I know it's awhile ago now but do they still have the Mallorcan sub species does any one know.

If they do, then they're definately not on display anywhere.

I think it was fine. Its proportions do look rather strange because it hasn't quite completed its metamorphosis and there are still traces of tadpole about it, which is why it hasn't completely left the water. The bump on the elbow and the greyish spot on its side look like rather dirty bubbles, such as you can see on the algae in the water.
The old tuatara exhibit has been empty for a couple of years now, see below
