Mammoth of Lier (Mammuthus primigenius), 2019-12-03

This mammoth skeleton was found in 1860 in the city of Lier (Antwerp province, Belgium), near the current site of the Lier city administration, during the digging of a water diversion canal. A 3D-printed copy of this skeleton with an updated anatomical pose is on display in the Lier city museum.
