The inside of this exhibit is much more aesthetically pleasant than the steel girders and wire that make up the exterior cage. With the mandrills now departed there will soon be black-and-white ruffed lemurs in the enclosure, but only two of them (1.1) and so I'm not sure how engaged the general public will be with the exhibit.
The steel fence on the exterior is currently off for the renovation. It will be replaced with some finer mesh which I hope will be easier to see and photograph through. (There is a glass window on the far end also). One reason for the change is that if the lemurs have babies there was a fear they would be small enough to slip through the old chain link fence.
